Book fever swept through St Benedict’s Junior School in October. “WAKE UP! POWER UP! with books” was the motto of the annual Book Week. The week got off to a sparkling start with the first public performance in the UK of ‘Totally Amazing’ a mini-musical produced by West End in Schools. Author Kathy Henderson read stories and illustrator Paul Geraghty entertained the pupils. Finally there was a ‘School Read In’ and a dressing up day to cap a great week.
