The Catering department at St Benedict’s School is celebrating a five star award following its first inspection under new management. At the start of term in January the school brought the catering department in-house and Ealing Borough Council have just awarded them five stars, the maximum possible. The inspection focussed on serving food in a safe environment. Environmental Health Officer Steve James commented that the hygiene standards were comparable to those of large high street chains.
