St Benedict’s Junior School has an Eco Song! Ten pupils, with the help of members of the group Planet Earth, created and recorded a song promoting the targets contained in the school’s travel plan. In the afternoon they gave a concert to teach the Junior School the St Benedict’s Eco Song called ‘A New Trend’. Organiser Becky Machin said, “The children thoroughly enjoyed the day. Hopefully the Eco message at St Benedict’s will go from strength to strength now we have a song to promote it.”
